Guarantees of the result in “DDclinic”

Most dental services in Kyiv have a warranty period. This is the period of elimination of defects at the expense of the clinic, redoing or free replacement of work in case of defects that have arisen after the end of treatment through no fault of the patient.

The Ministry of Health officially regulates warranty periods for dental services. For example, for fillings made of composite light-curing material – 1 year, glass ionomer cement fillings – 6 months, for fixed prosthetics (crowns, veneers) – 1 year, for removable prosthetics (dentures) – from 6 to 24 months.

However, this does not mean that after the warranty period expires, the structure can no longer be used. There is also the concept of the service life of certain materials and structures. Doctors at DDclinic in Kyiv are always interested in ensuring that the structures made by our specialists serve as long as possible. That is why, taking into account the individual characteristics of each patient in Kyiv, dentists always set the projected service life, which very often exceeds the above standards. The following factors are taken into account: the patient’s age, general health, the amount of the recommended treatment plan, the clinical situation in the oral cavity, the level of complexity of the clinical case, and the peculiarities of the patient’s environmental exposure.

In addition, when considering warranty cases, the following are taken into account: diseases of internal organs and changes in the physiological state of the body, compliance with oral hygiene, doctor’s recommendations, visits to the doctor with the recommended frequency, force majeure, etc.

Sterility guarantees

The DDclinic dental clinic strictly adheres to the rules of disinfection and sterilization. The implementation of these rules is controlled by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, as well as directly by the clinic management.

The sterilization cycle of instruments is carried out using high-quality imported equipment from leading European manufacturers in a specially equipped sterilization box. Before the sterilization process, all instruments are mechanically cleaned in special disinfectant solutions for several hours. Ultrasonic baths are used for more thorough cleaning. Azopyramine and phenolphthalein tests are used to check the quality of processing. Then the instruments are packed in special single-use bags with sterility indicators. They are placed in an autoclave, where the instruments are sterilized under the influence of steam at a temperature above 100 degrees Celsius. After such manipulations, the instrument becomes sterile and is stored in a special Panmed ultraviolet box.

All consumables used in the treatment process (gloves, syringes, needles, napkins, masks, saliva ejectors, rollers, capsules) are exclusively disposable. After the procedures, they are professionally disposed of
